About Me
A lifelong sewer, my interest became intense after my children were born and I could create unique clothing and decor items for them. I turned my hand to outerwear and made several snow suits and jackets. As a dance mom and a stage mom I further expanded my skills making costumes and props for recitals and theatre productions. Then came prom dresses and wedding dresses and I worked with satins and laces. I am a master at making a strapless dress that will stay put and never slip down!
Over the years, many great instructors have helped me enhance my skills to include complex techniques like pattern drafting, bra making, machine embroidery and couture techniques. I am experienced in sewing challenging fabrics like silk, lace, beaded and sequined fabrics, as well as leather, vinyl and canvas. I can work with boning to create elegant corsets and other tight fitting garments.
I also bring organizational, customer service and communication skills from my corporate life as an IT project manager to this new venture. Be assured you will be treated with great customer service, and your will be kept up-to-date on the status of your project . I work efficiently and complete projects on schedule.
