Theatrical / Period Costumes

 

I love costumes!!  The more elaborate the costume . the better!

I have worked with community theatre groups, designing and constructing many costumes over the years.   I have even been in Head of Wardrobe for entire productions with over 100 costumes to produce. 

Corsetry

 

Period costumes and strapless gowns require tightly fitted bodices.  These are constructed using special techniques such as boning, lacing, and other hidden structures.  This ensures a smooth fit and keeps the garment in place all day without any fidgeting from the wearer.
